RECENT APPEARANCES

Spring 2006: Melinda and Sacha toured with Circus Flora for their 20th anniversary show "Homage." Tour stops included Nantucket, Charleston, South Carolina's Spoleto Festival & St. Louis, MO.

July 2006:  Melinda & Sacha performed in the Daughters of Rhea production "Belly Dance Magic" at the Baltimore Museum of Art.  There, Sacha wowed the crowd with his clowd swing, Sacha and Melinda sizzled the air with their romantic trapeze duet, and Melinda debuted her aerial hoop dance fusion act.

August 2006:  Cirque Passion toured with the legendary Flying Wallendas to Auckland, New Zealand to participate in Dean Lonergan's International "McDonald's Cirque Rocks!" stadium show extravaganza.  Melinda made her debut on the platform with the Flying Wallendas as a "Platform Wallenda."

September 2006:  Sacha toured with the Flying Wallendas to Guilford, CT and Deerfield, NH, helping them recreate their breathtaking 7 person pyramid on the high wire.

October 2006:  Cirque Passion travels to Taiwan to present their elegant aerial acts along with some of the best circus acts from the U.S.

November 2006:  Puerto Rico beckons.

March 2007:  Royal Hanneford circus dates.

NOVEMBER 2005: ST. LOUIS, U.S.A.

SEPTEMBER 2005:  SPRINGFIELD, MA, U.S.A.
Sacha performed the 7-person pyramid on the high wire with the Flying Wallendas at the Big E in Springfield, MA in September 2005, and again at the Topsfield Fair in Topsfield, MA in mid-October. JUNE - JULY 2005:  ST. LOUIS & NANTUCKET ISLE
Melinda Heywood and Sacha Pavlata starred in Circus Flora's 2005 production of Tzigan.   Sacha performed his signature cloud swing act with Aurelia Wallenda, walked the high wire with the Flying Wallendas, and danced in the air with Melinda on the trapeze.  Melinda danced in the ring with Katja Schumann and her mystical horses, kicked up sawdust in a passionate dance solo to Chris Wood's gypsy violin, and proudly watched her 5-year old daughter Zoë perform her first bit of acting in the ring with Mr. Tino Wallenda.

AUGUST 2004:  BALTIMORE, U.S.A.
Sacha and Melinda performed the trapeze duet "Reve" before a standing ovation audience at the Baltimore Museum of Art in "Belly Dance Magic," an evening of oriental dance with the Daughters of Rhea.

FALL 2004:  DEERFIELD, NH & TOPSFIELD, MA, U.S.A.

Cirque Passion's Sacha Pavlata joined the Flying Wallendas and their family circus at the Deerfield & Topsfield Fairs. 

NOVEMBER 2004: CHARLESTON, S.C., U.S.A.

On November 18th 2004, Cirque Passion performed at a gala fundraiser for Darkness to Light, a non-profit organization in Charleston, South Carolina.  Melinda performed her Wild Wings of Isis Dance and balanced her tray of lit candles.  Later Melinda & Sacha performed their aerial ballet. 

NEW YEAR'S EVE 2004: FALL RIVER, MA., U.S.A.

Sacha performed with the Flying Wallendas at First Night celebrations at The Armory in Fall River, MA.

FEBRUARY 2005: BOSTON, MA, U.S.A.

Cirque Passion performed for Red Bull Art of the Can Art Exhibition on Saturday, February 26th.

MARCH 2005: BOSTON, MA, U.S.A.

Cirque Passion performed at the Boston Center for the Arts annual gala at the Cyclorama in Boston, MA on March 24th.

APRIL 2005: ATHENS, GREECE

Cirque Passion performs in Athens, Greece in April 2005 in Metaxorgeio.
 

SUMMER 2005:  ST. LOUIS
Sacha and Melinda spent the summer teaching circus arts -- trapeze, lyra, cloud swing, acrobatics and more --  at Sacha's St. Louis School of Circus Arts at the Saint Louis Science Center.
